   Used it for a couple of weeks now and very comfortable to write this review. The manufacturer had certainly take the feedback of customers constructively and improved this product significantly. Especially on the vertical support which is now a robust single aluminum structure. While the assembly may look complex, it is a well engineered product that is flexible and highly adjustable to satisfy every whim of a serious Sim fan. Not to mention it also looks gorgeous. Understand the price is more attractive than the alternative (for serious Sim Fan), only non-breaking gripe is still the price. It took me a while to take the plunge, and I am very satisfied with the purchase. But as mentioned, it is for the serious Sim fan. Good job to the manufacturer and continue to listen to the feedback of your customers and improve your product,

   The build process took a while but I am very satisfied.

   Pros:
   Excellent adjustability
   Very sturdy
   Good clamp force
   Good price

   Cons:
   Not sure if its J-PEIN’s fault or VKB but one corner of my throttle is not secured as the throttle’s USB port is directly behind the mounting hole and no screw/bolt was flat enough to to allow the USB to plug/unplug.
   Does not work well with my desk but the desk is a POS with square tube framing that interferes with everything.

   A bit fiddly to assemble (you only get a YT video), and it is not rock stable (at least the one holding the throttle wobbles a bit) but it is perfectly usable and otherwise the quality is good. For the price it is absolutely recommeded!

   Bought for a center mount joystick setup for Flight Simming and it works beautifully. It’s rock solid when attached to my desk, I notice zero movement at all, and does not seem to be damaging my desk in any way. I use my desk for both work and play, and the J Pein is perfect since I can attach or remove my joystick in less than 15 seconds. Then I just stick it on the floor below the desk and it’s out of sight.

   Assembly was straightforward enough, if you’re completely hopeless with tools you might struggle a bit, but anyone who has ever built a Lego set or something from Ikea should be able to handle this. There were a few bits in the box that weren’t mentioned anywhere in the instructions, although they are obviously not critical to the function of the product as I simply left them in the box and haven’t had any issues. But maybe a rewrite of the instructions would be a good idea going forward. It’s also completely adjustable so that you can get your stick exactly where you need it to be. Also offers fantastic value vs. the competitors, and comes with all the extra screws you need to attach most sticks and throttles to the universal mounting plate, so no need to buy a different plate if I get a different joystick in the future.

   7/5/2022 UPDATE – back to 5 stars. Contacted company using their contact form (I did not find a support link) and explained the problem. They responded in about 48 hours requesting my address so they could send a replacement. They sent me 4 replacement parts, and they appear to be upgraded versions. that appear to be unable to crack, being what appears to be metal and nylon. Left (white) was the replacement. I don’t know if this new part is going to become standard or not, but it should. UPDATE – after less than 2 weeks the plastic disk on one of the clamp cracked. It is still working, but I have no idea for how much longer. Dropped rating from 5 stars. Ordered 2 sticks from VKB. For simplicity, I was going to order their mounts as well. After doing some research, they were going to be twice as much (almost 3X with shipping.) So I looked for an alternative. These mounts are universal and work well with the sticks. They hold onto the desk extremely well and are a solid, stable platform. The only movement I experience is my my desk, not the mounts. Assembly was pretty easy and took about 30 minutes to do both, just because there are a lot of screws/nuts. These are the best bang for buck mounts that I’ve found. I don’t usually give 5 stars, but these are totally worth it.
