   Just finished the game! It was slightly shorter than I thought but still fun. Gave me fallout vibes. Can decide what u want to do based on your chat decision and friends u choose to trust along the way, meaning different endings. Only downside is there’s no new game plus. But still a fun game!!

   I originally did not like the game but the more I played it and turned the difficulty all the way down (so I wouldn’t die every single encounter with an outlaw) it was fun. The graphics are actually really awesome but no fast travel makes the game lengthy. It’s fun, but once I beat it I wouldn’t play it again.

   This game is unfairly getting bad reviews from people who seem to have completely misunderstood the game. If you are expecting it to be Fallout then you are probably going to be disappointed. Though it may share *some* similarities it’s clearly NOT Fallout nor does it have any pretensions to be. First of all the game is NOT post-apocalyptic. It is based on a real life historical event that occurred in northern England after fires from the Windscale nuclear reactor released radioactive fallout into the atmosphere around the nearby villages and crafts a fictional and imaginative alternate history narrative set in the stunningly beautiful open world English countryside. The game doesn’t try to hold your hand to figure out what is going on or what you must do. It is up to the player to explore and pick up clues through interactions with NPC’s to complete objectives as the story skillfully unfolds. The less you actually know about it going in the more rewarding the mystery. A brilliant atmospheric distillation of British culture that is evocative of Doctor Who, The Wicker Man, A Clockwork Orange, The Tripods and The Avengers. Would make a perfect PSVR game. This is easily Game of the Year imo.

   They did an absolutely awesome job with the ps5 version. I’ve been looking forward to this game and it did not disappoint.
   Do not compare it to fall out. It’s not nearly as in-depth, but that does not mean there isn’t any similarities.
   You still craft and have a skill tree.

   Very disappointed. Nothing like fallout 4. The first hour of the game I explored the whole first area and couldn’t even keep most of the stuff I found because of terrible inventory storage. Snooze fest.

   If you enjoyed the Metro games or even just Metro Exodus, you’ll be sure to enjoy this. I’ve been so lost in this world, I didn’t even realize I had been playing it for 17 hours and still not close to being done. It’s hard to get into a game like that anymore for me so Atomfall has been a welcoming surprise. It was the only game I’ve been interested in so far this year and it does not disappoint.

   Game is glitchy and incomplete. Makes me feel like the developers had to release it even though it wasn’t ready and just said F it and released it anyways. It’s not a 60 dollar game. I wouldn’t waste your money on this when there are many other good games out there.

    Stop crying, the game is fine. These horrible reviews are shallow at best. This game isn’t a hand holding experience and it wasn’t advertised as such.

    I only crashed once in a 25hr run thru the game. I crash every other time i explore the PSN store.

    It’s not a “follow a marker, shoot 10 guys, get a gum drop, then follow next marker” game. Nor is it fallout. I explored, I chose what to do next, I found more clues, I chose to change my mind. This game is great, it has some clunky flaws and I’m starting my second run of the game.

    It’s minimally a 4 star game for me, but gave it a 5 to help the rating.

    Similar to farcry. Upgrade yourself and weapons. A little back and fourth between the maps to figure out what you need to finish the story. Good visuals. Challenging not to die sometimes. It’s a survival game. I personally liked it.
