   This is a great wheel for most games, I use it for Euro Truck simulator 2 and it has not failed me, it is good and easy to use / configure, its built well, the only downside is it may not work the best with certain desks with the provided clamps, otherwise it’s perfect for beginners.

   I got my HORI Apex wheel and pedals yesterday; I have a 30″ ultra-wide 2650×1080 200 Hz monitor.
   this is PC number 3 and will be dedicated to racing. Cost me over a hundred bucks out the door!
   setup was fairly easy, I watch a lot of videos, went to Hori website downloaded all I needed, and off I went.

   This is a very good entry-level set-up, our grand kids love it!

   Two days latter, I ordered a second steering wheel, so both grandsons could play together!
   They are young teens and don’t need anything better for now…good enough.

   Could bot be easier, you literally take the the one piece and screw it in so the suction cups are facing up and it comes with a big screw and a way to turn it. Then you plug it in and switch it to steering mode on the top so it works with the pedals as well. It is extremely precise and I feel the price is just right I would not pay anymore for a gaming steering wheel. Very happy with the performance

    So before you buy it be aware that you can change the dead zone and sensitivity. I found a video for it. Anyway for dead zone, have the switch at the top right it’ll read (DP/LS/RS) put it into DP hold assign for 3-5 seconds (a light will come on) (center right) then hit options (a light will come on) (center left) use the D-pad up and down to switch it to your preferred setting. The color will change. Then hit assign again to set it. Same thing for sensitivity but have it in LS mode. I think there are seven colors green being the less responsive and white being most responsive. You can also reset everything to original settings. I think you hit assign options and then share but I can’t remember if that is correct 🤦 Also final thought, I had to have mine on normal mode on ps4 not steering but i can still use the steering so idk what those two really do because in steering mode you can’t use the D-pad. I hope this helps. I bought mine used and had no manual.

    Came with no instruction manual. Youtube has no video tutorial on how to even configure to gaming system, searched high and low finally was able to print out and the Hori Apex on the manual is not the hori apex in front of me, same exact name, same model etc. Buttons are all switched around, some buttons have no name only a symbol on them. Tried following instructions to a T, NOTHING!! After many attempts over the last few months at “starting over”, still doesn’t respond to instructions and attempts.
    This piece of trash is supposed to be geared to 1st time/amatuer users. It is NOT user friendly!! It now sits in a landfill somewhere where this piece of money-wasted garbage belongs. Will NEVER purchase a hori product again….EVER!!! No wonder it’s cheaper than all the others. HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED!!
