I find that I am very pleased with this “Cockpit” for SIM racing. I use it for SIM Iracing and have Oculus 2 goggles for VR. It took a while to put together, but was easy. It connected very easily to my Thrustmaster pedals and wheel and there were no setup issues. I do not use the shifter and have repurposed the “shifter mount” for mouse and keyboard. If I had more time/was younger, I would have preferred a seat from a junked car, but went with the model offered with the rig. I’m afraid if it was up to me to secure the chair, I’d still be looking, so I paid the $200 for the seat offered. It is not bad, but I wish you could go up and down, not just forward/backwards/recline. I really wanted a sturdy “Cockpit” and this has worked well. If I had a monitor setup, I’m not sure how this would work, but with the VR, I like it. If you have the time/energy, I’d try and save some $$ and get a seat from a junked car. I think it would certainly be cooler to have a real seat and it would be more comfortable. This isn’t bad, and I have no plans to change it. As long as I stick with VR, I can see myself being happy with this for a long time. Very sturdy and comfortable. I’m not sure about it with monitors – but not something I’m dealing with…

I’m just getting into sim racing and the black Friday deal was great on this setup. Regular price lot bad either… I like the strength of the round steel tubing. Even with my 225 lbs, there is no flex or movement! Adjustability of the pedals, wheel, and seat allow me to get everything just right. There was a small blemish from shipping damage, but I reached out to the seller and they made it right, really quick! Be aware because of the size of the cocpit frame and seat, they come in two packages, which the seller states, but the hedfpk.com UI does not seem to be able to account for… All in all, great buy!
