   I really wanted to like the first game, but I could never get over the frustrating “Eurojank” and ended up quitting in frustration. Therefore, I was very cautious about purchasing the sequel. The glowing reviews and incredibly positive word of mouth caused me to throw caution to the wind. Boy am I glad I did!!! The game is so much fun! It can be difficult to start, but once you figure out the mechanics a world of adventure awaits for you to discover! I HIGHLY recommend to any RPG fan!

   I purchased this game to get my fix for a plot driven open world RPG, and have not played the original game. Warning, do not go into this expecting a new version of Skyrim as all of the mechanics (combat, potion making, lockpicking, etc.) have a pretty steep learning curve. Truth be told, this is a difficult game, but once you get the hang of it, it is very fun. Honestly, I almost gave up on the game, before everything began to click.

   How about the plot? So far it is quite intriguing, you start off with practically nothing and have to be build yourself up. The main character, Henry, is a good character to play as and he is a very malleable to different play styles. All the NPCs also seem to be intriguing as well.

   In closing I would definitely recommend this to someone who is willing to put some work into it.

    One of the most ridiculous games I have ever played. The first 6 hours or so of my play time were mostly filled with passively watching cutscenes, with an occasional entry of a dialog choice by me. The “tasks” in this time consisted of finding a path in the dark, lugging sacks of flour from a wagon to a pantry, and avoiding any physical conflicts. The avoidance of conflicts is necessary because the tutorial descriptions of blocking and hitting back make no sense at all; additionally my character has so little stamima that he can barely manage 2 blows that have little effect, but gets killed by two blows from an adversary. The story is ultra boring– I fell asleep several times while playing, and baked a loaf of bread while awake as the cutscenes went on and on. If you are having trouble getting to sleep, this is the game for you.

    When I started this game I was frustrated especially with the combat system, u will need a lot of patience with the combat system and even the menu. After a while I was just grabbed by the story! U will learn as u go, maybe some YouTube how to’s along the way. But this game continues to win me over on the details like eating and sleeping because everything matters in the game. I say give it a chance and be patient!
