   Got this as a Xmas gift for a teenage family member and it was very well received. This was the most anticipated game for him after recently upgrading to a PS5. The graphics and story line appear great and have already provided countless hours of fun for him. Grateful to have been able to still get the Launch Edition as it gave him some additional suits to use in the game.

   A great Spiderman game with outstanding visuals and some appreciated gameplay mechanics. The story is well written and enjoyable. Many gripes hold me back from giving this a solid 5 stars. We’ve seen the same moves and abilities with some fresh tweaks but over time the combat is going to feel a bit boring since it is recycled from previous games. What makes me dislike the game is the boss encounters, it’s too overwhelming having to take more than 5-10 minutes to go on 3 rounds fighting the bosses. I played this in spectacular difficulty so you’re going to be sitting there for a while just to proceed through the main story. Another thing I dislike is the glitches, after installing the game. $70 is a hefty price tag when some scenes aren’t rendered properly or the game just crashes because of the bugs. I’ve had multiple issues with the framerate frequently dipping completely taking me out of the immersion. Last but not least the story is unforgivably short took me less than 5 days to complete again $70 I would expect those hours of playing to be worth the money but to me, it falls short, yeah there are sides missions, and activities but they feel boring after a while since it’s the same thing over and over. I would wait for a sale if you’re looking to buy the game. 4.3 out of 5 – Good 👏
