   I had read a lot of reviews that worried me about buying this. I had used an f500 Elite for fighting games on the PS4 and loved it. I had read a lot of stories of difficulty getting this to work on PS5. I bought a PS5 slim a month ago and so I can only speak about this specific experience, but it was easier to set up for me than when I first got the Elite in the first place. Plugged in stick to USB on back of PS5, put Ultimate in back of stick and in about 2 seconds, it was working. No downloading of any firmware, etc. Just worked. Brilliant.

   Kinda a pain, but you have to update both the adapter and the fightstick on a pc. The files are easy to find online, just Google “mayflash magic s ultimate latest update” and “mayflash f300 latest update”. Then launch the application for the adapter, and with the app already open hold the little button on the side of the adapter while you plug it into the PC. Then press update. Do the same for the fightstick but instead hold the start button and the home button while you plug it into the PC. Also press update. Once both are updated just launch the game and plug the adapter into the fightstick and the fightstick into the PS5. (Make sure the f300 has the right switches on) Now you got the f300 working on PS5.

   Bought this to use a Google Stadia controller with a PS3. Not only does it work as intended but the home button also works which is a big plus. Obviously it won’t turn the console on since the Mayflash requires the system power in order to be powered on itself. Connecting took a few tries to connect the controller to the Mayflash but eventually worked after a few tries. Mine came with the most recent firmware however if not, the website is super simple to download and update the stick if needed. The price is super reasonable and would absolutely recommend.

   I bought this so i can use my PS5 controller on my PS3, PS4 and Switch and it works wonders. No input lag, the PS button even works, and even the vibration works. Best of all when the PS3/PS4 tells you to plug the controller directly in to do stuff you don’t have to, all you have to do it hit the PS button 2 times and bam it works, no need to get up and plug a cable in. This saves me so much time and money trying to find a decent controller especially for PS3 since its almost impossible to find a brand new controller.

   This is a great adapter if you have multiple consoles you want to use the same controllers with. It was just as easy as plugging in the adapter to the USB port on the console and plugging in the controller. I’ve used it play on my Nintendo Switch with a PS4 controller and have used it to play the PS4 version of Taiko No Taitsujin with my Nintendo Switch Taiko drumcon as seen in the pictures. This has saved me both money and space on trying to get a PS4 drumcon. I saved at least double what this adapter cost by not having to get a third party PS4 drumcon. I’ve used this with both third party and officially licensed PS4 controllers as well as third party and officially licensed Hori drumcon/tatacons. All controllers worked excellently. With the switch drumcon being used on PS4, I had to change controller input to USB for older controllers in the settings. After that, it worked fine with no noticeable lag. I definitely recommend this adapter!

   I purchased the MAGIC-S to use a PS4 Controller on my PS3 after my controller broke, and it worked perfectly. Some features such as rumble and motion controls do not work with the device so this should be considered before purchasing.

   I have also tested the device on my computer which allowed the controller to work without needing a re-sync which is fantastic. It also arrived with the latest firmware, so no need to worry about that. Overall, a great investment and saved me lots of money on second hand controllers.

    I was able to use this Mayflash Magic-S Pro 2 dongle with my PS3 slim, and I plugged in the 8bitdo Ultimate 2.4G controller into this mayflash dongle to have 2.4G support WITH the native playstation home button support on the controller.
    I can’t tell you enough how flawless the setup was, no updates were required, just dongle plugged into another dongle and I was off to the races playing the sly-collection.

    PS3 controllers are all dying, and I’ve tried several no name controllers. While they work, they have horrible movement scaling and feel. It’s more like an on/off switch moving in various directions and aiming. Also, in a relatively short time, I had an inconsistent L3 and R3 buttons.

    Bought this to try using with an Xbox One bluetooth controller. Setup straightforward. Movement much improved, and far more accurate.

    The Home (Xbox) button works to get to the PS3 menus etc.

    The only thing it doesn’t do is turn the PS3 on by hitting the controller home button. Easy workaround for this is to enable HDMI-CEC and then you can use your TV remote to turn on the PS3 by switching to the PS3 HDMI input.

    Overall, worth the money to finally have controller that works. And I can use the same Xbox One controller with my PC, Pi and Android devices too.
