   This is one of the best game you could get among games that released in 2024. No Atlus and their hit series Persona fans should miss out on this.

   Great music, story, and gameplay. Only negative thing I could think of is somewhat meh graphic compared to other current gen games, as it uses their own graphic engine from Catherine, but that does not mean it is ugly to look at.

   I strongly suggest you to try this game if you have not yet.

   Been wanting to try an Atlus RPG for a while and figured now was as good a time as any. My biggest concern going in was the time management mechanic seen previously in the Persona series, but so far it hasn’t been a problem. I usually tackle the core objectives early and I’m left with plenty of spare time to develop character bonds and wrap up side quests until the next objective is given. One early recommendation is to escape/retry enemy encounters if the enemies land the first hit as even on the easy difficulty it will leave you on the back foot for the rest of that encounter. To give a comparison, the combat is similar to the job system from final fantasy 5 so the overall challenge is more dependent on finding which classes/moves are most effective in a given area zone/dungeon. Don’t want to spoil too much so I’ll just say that its a fun time with beautiful visuals, a great story, and a surprisingly flexible battle system. Would recommend.

   Enjoyed this game. Def happy I bought it from hedfpk.com for $50 instead of paying $70 for it. I enjoyed the story and love the gameplay and battle system.

   My only complaint is that the game runs really long. It’s got about an 80 hour standard playtime and you just likely won’t finish everything on your first playthrough.

   If you are an RPG fan, you have to try out Metaphor.
   Atlus games have always been top notch, and Metaphor doesn’t disappoint in any way or shape.

   Solid characters, great protagonist, and an interesting story. The gameplay is really enjoyable and gets you addicted to this game in no time!

   There are various difficulty options that you can pick, so even if you’re new to RPGs, you should be able to enjoy this game to the max.

   This game easily gets a 9.5/10 for me.

   De los creadores de Persona nos llega este juego que mantiene ciertos elementos de dicha saga. Todo lo llamativo y hermoso de la presentación que se logró con Persona 5 es llevado a la perfección a este mundo de fantasía. Es un RPG por turnos, por lo tanto si ese no es tu estilo de juego no lo compres. Todavía tienes que avanzar día a día como en el persona, eligiendo que haces en cada día sin tanta presión en las interacciones con los “Social Link”. Es un buen punto de partida para entrar al género sin ser muy difícil.

   Amazing turn based Jrpg. This game hooked me instantly, Its all the good parts from the persona series, in a new package. Do know what your are in for though. It is alot of story, if you are the type the just skips through story parts, this probably is not for you, it is half the game, but if your like that, and want alot of complicated systems, that work together well, this game is spot on.

    This game so far has completely surpassed ALL of my expectations! I avoided spoilers for this game like the plague when it was announced, so this is only my opinion on the first 4 hours of the game; take it with a grain of salt, if you will (pun intended.) The visuals alone and the SOUNDTRACK, has me overwhelmed in the best way possible. The character designs do not miss, the battle music is a banger (the chanting in it is everything honestly), and the voice acting thus far is quality itself. I usually go for Japanese audio/Eng subtitles on most games, but I was curious about how the English audio would sound on this one (like Persona 5 Royal and some other Atlus games.) I ended up keeping my settings on the English audio in the end, because I really love all the different accents! The plot is also worth noting, as there is a LOT of world-building. I also wouldn’t worry about getting lost with all of the terminology in the game (or even about a certain character’s history as more are introduced) because there is a glossary to keep you updated on all of it. All in all, so far I would 150% recommend this game to anyone who is a Persona/SMT lover, or any rpg lover in general. I will update my review once I finish the game though!

    Looking for something to scratch that itch until Persona 6? Play this. Wanted Persona games to feel a little more like Final Fantasy? Play this. Wanted a Persona game with the grotesque body horror of a Soulsborne game? Play this. Metaphor has all that, it’s got the gameplay and mechanics of modern Persona games, all the way down to a talkative helper character, a plethora of different races and lore rich fantasy locations like Final Fantasy, and monsters called “humans” that really defy description. The game also has more of a challenge than Persona games. Usually the first time-limited “dungeon” can be gone through pretty quickly leaving a lot of time to do other activities on the outside, but here the first such dungeon is a tower you have to go to the roof on with only a few items that can replenish small amounts of MP requiring frequent exits to replenish MP and return the next day. This was an unexpected challenge that I enjoyed. It’s overall a fun game that I might even replay again right after.

    If you’ve played any atlus game. The mechanics will be familiar. Social sim meets real time turn based combat.the combat is more streamlined than any game to date. The story is unique even for Atlus as it is incredibly relevant to the modern world. As fun to play as it is a thought provoking title.
