This game it too complicated. There is so much detail and they do not do a great job of showing you how to do something. They just tell you to do the task and then it’s up to you to figure out how to do it. We never even made it through all the tutorials. There were several. So maybe if we try again it will make more sense. But really I just want a game that’s a bit less complicated

The game itself is really great, graphics and features are incredible. However, they give you the ability to grid and make blueprints, then they give you such a small piece limit! Honestly I was done with this game when I realize you can’t scale your zoo at all. The piece limits on the console are so minuscule!! Come on, don’t give me all the capabilities and ease to scale, then make it physically impossible to do so. I get that they do this to keep it from crashing, but it honestly ruined the nostalgia. The piece limit is so small you can only have 10 nice exhibits in a single zoo.

My friend had this for pc, and my daughter fell in love(our pc is definitely not compatible for gaming..). So we were thrilled about this console edition! At first I was worried about the complexity of navigating the controls, but after the tutorial and hopping right into it, it became very easy, second nature really. Not hard at all, even for my 7yr old. Myself and my kids enjoy it

Everything is guesswork. The menus are not straightforward. The tutorials are confusing. Graphics are excellent but game is frustrating. Update: Sandbox mode is excellent if you turn off a lot of the settings that complicate things and spend a lot of trial-and-error time.
