1. The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt PS5 Verified Buyer – 19 July 2024

   Witcher 3 is great. As for the physical product itself? For some reason I was sent a European copy of the game. Thankfully PS5 isn’t region locked so it’s not a problem aside from having a different rating graphic on the box than the typical NA ESRB rating as shown in the product description images. Disc was also loose, no scratches thankfully but regarding the region versioning, this product listing needs some help.

   My first exposure to The Witcher was as many via the game. I loved it. I had an X-Box the first go-around. Now that I’m on PS5 I of course wanted to play again. This version is all inclusive. Has New Game + and all the DLC. It has been a blast playing again. Too bad after the first season the Netflix series was ruined by the mOdErN aUdIeNcE and perhaps Witcher 4 as well. I expect this will be my last attention to The Witcher series. Maybe I’ll read the books… Get this game and enjoy.

   My husband played this on PS3 and PS4. This revised edition is awesome. Beautiful graphics, and the features with the built in mods are great.

   So the picture has the North American rating on it, but I got my copy and like other reviews it’s the EU version and not the NA one. For those who do not know it makes a difference in terms of the add-on content that this game is supposed to come with. The base game will work just fine, however the add on content which gives you a better experience is region locked meaning you have to be located in the same region that the disk was made for I.e Europe. Meaning if you live in America like me it won’t work.

The disc arrived in perfect condition, although it’s worth mentioning that it’s a European copy, not a U.S. release. Nonetheless, the game is a masterpiece that should not be missed. Prepare for an unforgettable journey in The Witcher 3.
