   Been a long time fan of the Borderlands series. Started with the first and in the newest game Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands it is more of the same that I love. Tons of weapons? Check! Plenty of humor? Check!
   Fun and interesting character builds? Check! And added on to all of it for the first time you get to fully create the appearance of your character.

The Season Pass and 4 post-launch content drops — Onto the Review: Full game spinoff and sequel to Borderlands 2 DLC Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep (TTADK). If you played it already (it was part of PlayStation plus subscription February 2022) then this game is just more of it with a few enhancements. Plot is Tiny Tina is re-playing D&D with some of her buddies, and you’re playing in a LARP (via Borderlands gameplay). You are the Fate Maker and save the world from the Dragon Lord. Humor is like TTADK. Gameplay and UI is reminiscent of Borderlands 3 with a D&D medieval skin, but they added some extra features to make it stand out on it’s own a little Still a looter shooter. You get armor and accessory drops in addition to guns. Guns are more D&D medieval themed this time around unlike TTADK where they just ported over guns from the main line games. –Character creation Classes: Unique classes this time around (no pre-selected vault hunter), able to combine a class few hours in Appearance: make your own character this time instead of default classes in previous game. There’s customization pickups to further change your character later on, like how skins work in previous games Background: aside from the story attached to it, select base stat you want to start with No Grenades (aside form guns what chuck them when reloading). Able to use magic this time around instead. On a cool down. Magic attacks vary depending on items you equip, and not consumables. There are also special abilities on cool down depending on what classes you choose Melee is more impactful this time around Co-op has level scaling Some classes have summons like Gaige/Mechromancer, but they don’t attack as much which is lame. A cool new mechanic is lost item retrieval. When you didn’t see a pickup, or not able to (flying enemies dropping off cliff, summons/team defeating enemies away from you, etc) there’s a pickup station in the main town where you can pick them up. There is limit to how much it can carry so best not to over-rely on it There’s an overworld hub, where you walk around to get items, have combat encounters and get to the next area. When a combat encounter pops up, you get teleported into an arena based battle. It acts, or is a riff on pokemon random encounters on tall grass. You can easily avoid it by doing a melee attack before they get to you. If you’re underleveled you can use them to grind also Due to the overworld hub there’s no vehicles to drive around in, which is great since vehicles controls in the Borderlands series were always bad. Wish the walking speed could be faster though Post game there is a Chaos Chamber area. Just a rouge-like area where you gain rewards for competing to further mid-max your character. You must choose a curse to play. Game feels like more Borderlands but with a different story, if you’re into that then it’s a good buy. The length of game is longer than TTADK and feels more like an expansion than DLC or a full release. $60 (MSRP) at launch is a bit much in my opinion; feels like a $40 expansion game like ‘Uncharted Lost Legacy’ , ‘Spiderman Miles Morales’ or ‘Far Cry New Dawn’ . If you have a PS5, the graphics update and haptic feedback is not worth the additional $10 in my opinion. Best to get the PS4 version unless you want the bonus packs

   This is way better than BL3. Maybe not as good as BL2 with all the DLC but this is the right direction. Great cast and voice actors. If you liked the Tiny Tina BL2 DLC this is for you then.

   The graphics are awesome, the gameplay is solid and feels like real time was put into it, and it’s actually completely done no100 gig update upon uploading from disc only problem is I can’t figure out how to use my pre-ordered gift or season pass.

   I like borderlands. I like the grind but this game has a lot of annoying little things that takes away from my enjoyment. Here are three.
   1. The Lucky Dice. I do not enjoy revisiting maps to look in corners for dice to get better loot. It is tedious to have look around for more than a hundred dice to get better loot. The increase in difficulty should be enough to improve my loot chances.
   2. The DLC are lazy. All four DLCs are dungeons with same same 4 repeating quest, no new enemy mobs , and lack of story. The only good thing about the dlc ae that the end bosses get an upgrade with each difficulty increase.
   3. i hate save quitting to farm bosses. With the ps5 it only takes seconds but at this point they can add a button in each boss room that restarts the fight.
   Overall its an ok game with an ok but not good story.

   Long time fan and this is a fun new revamp to the franchise.

   Magic is awesome, characters unique, and the visuals are amazing! I’m hyped to play, the docs looking awesome with new classes and weapons. Can’t wait to enjoy this for a while

   I’m not sure why this game gets so much hate and bad opinions; it felt just like a borderlands game based in the DnD world. If you like RPGs, if you like borderlands, you’ll most likely enjoy this game as well. No regrets purchasing this title
